Where’s Juanita? Goodness peoples.
Its been awhile since I have done anything with this thing. Its been a roller coaster ride. So lets start with the basics. Where am I?I am in Douala, Cameroon. Western Africa. Its hot and I like it. Cameroon is a beautiful country. I have been working for AIESEC Cameroon. Working for AIESEC is an amazing and challenging experience as everday you work to develop yourself while doing something meaningful. I manage all the Human Resources of the three branches of AIESEC in Cameroon. Its the hardest, most challenging exhausting, exiliatating thing I have ever done. its good. It has definetly been my most intense learning experience..
The Impact.
I have lost god knows how many pounds because of the great food here. None of that GMO bull crap. Its nice. Check out a picture of how I am looking like these days with one of my friends Anna from Finland!. Come to Cameroon you'll lose weight!
Well through it all there are some key lessons that have been learned. Just like life in general its been and up down all around emotional crazy roller coaster ride of heaven and anything else thats touched hte university. Also known as intense.
But here are the key learnings.

1) Knowing who you are is the best and hardest thing that a person can do . Once you know yourself, you control everything.
2) Being positive and patient makes the world a happier place.
3) Its okay to be angry, fustrated as long as you do something with them.
4) laughing at least five times a day can get you through any situation.
5) Working on your weaknesses is a hard thing to do..but necessary.
Well I'm outta here. But before I go. If any of you ever want to buy me a gift just get me some food..cause I have seriously developed an appetite in this country. I eat more than two people combined. I'm sending yall some Juanita kind of greeting! )
Juani, Kwado, Juan ,Nita(or anything else you want to call me)

Deja vu! One of my friends and AIESECers Alma went to Douala a couple years ago for her CEED and had a similiar experience with weight loss and the food. Coincidence? I think not :p
Looks like things are going great for you! Are you staying in Cameroon for the holidays or coming back to the tundra?
