SO what have I done...I can say that I've finally done something that I've always wanted to do.
I'm reaching a step closer by being the person I've wanted...
Always wanted to be a dreamer that could make things happen.
Finally I've dreamed of being a ceeder in India for two years and I'm here. Its surreal sometimes. I've done it. For the first time in my life, I do not feel as if I'm watching my life but living it.
So lets some up my trip shall we?
1. Visited my parents for three weeks: read about India, had a great bday expensive meal, laughed with my friends, went on the beach, went to an omani show, learnt more about geology, went clubbing with my momma :), chillaxed with Summin, went on the dulous-world's largest book store, shopping, explored the hills of Muscat with Dad, went scubba diving, but most of all I felt love from my parents (something that I missed for too long)..and cant forget homemade meals and the cute neighbors from across teh street
2. Came to Baroda and took off to Mumbai for an LCP summit: realized that Indian trains are crazy, Mumbai trains give birth to people, I feel in love with Mumbai, learnt about common induction, met all the VP OGXs of India, went clubbing, learn about cricket (why do they chill so much?), amazing convo with Vijit and Vanessa, fell in love with Bombay Rockers, had some Desi cuisine, realized that I dont know any role calls...realized that I'm loud no matter where I go...
3. Returned to the comfort of Aishwarya's home: To find out that I had an important marketing call which definetly inspired my passion for event management and fundraising
4. Returned to Baroda: to start shopping, eating, sleeping, and most importantly chilling in Baroda....to the sights of Barista, cows, donkeys, motorbikes, cell phones, a Sharu Khan obsession
5. STarted work: doing cultural presentations, OGX work, NLDS fundraising
6. Conference time: went to JNC 2005--what a trip
6 days of travelling (no shower), learnt about the passion of baroda, number crunching AIESEC india, hardcore conversations, networking for YOU CAN, learning that canadians are everywhere (met vai and nick), discharge nite till 5am (always say what ya gotta say), party gaolre, realized my passion for AIESEC, reflection sessions, last nite (attack of the chairs), beautful darjeeling (first time I had lunch in the clouds), my mafia performance with AIESEC Kolkatta (cheers to sick mafia), my obesssion for shopping which drove everybody crazy, EB EB EB....ceeder power (li'er, me and Joe), sleepy sleepy Joe....but most importantly...realized that AIESEC is where I should be...
7. 6 cities so far: delhi, mumbai, Calcutta, darljeeling, siliguiri, Baroda
So thats a wrap
its madness
but its good....
living a dream its better than waiting for it to happen.
